Water of Life

I love that we use water in the Sacrament each Sunday instead of wine.  While wine has certain ways of representing the blood Christ shed in terms of its color and method of preparation in a wine press, Christ, speaking to the Samaritan woman said "Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: ¹⁴ But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
I am grateful that even though I live in a desert, the snow falls on the mountains and provides enough to nourish and water for the entire year.  I am grateful for the cup I take when I renew my covenant on the Sabbath.
