Non-PC

This is a backup post for yesterday night.  I went to bed without remembering this gratitude blog because my son and I binge watched the Jack Ryan first season on Amazon.  Tom Clancy, the originator of the Ryan character is one of the executive producers and it shows in the storyline.  The main terrorist who is the focus of Ryan's efforts is not completely unsympathetic.  On the other hand you can recognize the evil that he does without apology.  I am grateful that the media and Hollywood usual narrative that makes heroes of people who are not worthy of that title simply because of their membership in a given ethnic group and makes demons of others in the wrong different ethnic group was not evident in this program.
