Score!

I spent most of the day watching football or going to and from Rice-Eccles Stadium at the U of U to watch football.  I rode up to 53rd south with David and we caught a train that had just started to enter the station but was delayed by a careless man who got hip clipped by the bumper of the train that was drawing into the station just as we were ready to cross the tracks.  We went to the other end of the platform and had plenty of time to get on the train when it started up again and took its place after a delay for the victim to be examined.  I find no mention of the accident on the internet so I assume it was not a serious injury.  The weather was mild and the game between Timpview, where Alden plays football and Lehi, the opposing team in the semi-finals for 4A, was well fought and fairly intense.  The end score of 35 to 7 doesn't reflect the ongoing feeling that things could shift until we were in the final half of the final quarter.
